I need to tell you something.

I can’t open Facebook or Twitter on my office’s PC. I don’t have a phone or annoying tablet to surf the Internet. And these works at my workplace are killing me. I really need a break before walking back on purpose to the works and allowing them to consume me. Like walking towards zombies with a hope that they’ll dance Thriller with you. And that ‘break’ means I need to do something else. Something that sets me free for a while. This is why I’m writing this blog post. Luckily, blogger.com is accessible here.

It’s three weeks already I’m here at Alor Gajah, Melaka. But I still feel like a tourist instead of a local. Still adapting. Like I used to. I’ve experienced lives in Ipoh, Batu Gajah, Bota, Petaling Jaya, Shah Alam and Kuala Lumpur (and Leuven, Belgium. technically). So, yeah. I believe I can survive this one. Another Gajah. Alor Gajah. What’s next? Telur Gajah?

I rented a house at Masjid Tanah, quite far from my workplace. A terrace house with 3 rooms. Alone. RM200 a month. But with billions of ants. There’s nothing in my house except for a toto,  pillows and my baggages. Oh, I brought my guitar along from KL but I don’t really play it. Works continually consumed me until 8pm at least every day. My house is quite far from my workplace, did I mention that before? K. It’s about 30-minutes drive from one to another. So I leave my house early for work at around 6.20am. Compared to my life months ago, wow! I am suddenly a morning person. I am suddenly a man with a real job. I am not a jobless dude who often goes to cinema watching free movie screenings anymore. Freeloaders… Holy shit! There’s no cinema in Alor Gajah. But there’s always Torrent. Holy shit! The broadband signal is weak at my house area. And holy shit! The IT team at my workplace blocked Torrent.

So this is why I’m writing this blog post.

Ermm…

No. Not really. I have another thing to share. The most important one. A significant reason which got me started writing this post. Not only that I just need a brief break from these paper-works but… this one is THE one I need to tell you;

My name is Adam. And I’m going to have my own business cards. Fuck yeah!

Okay that’s all. Thanks.

(Cue American Psycho’s business card scene)

p.s. Don't 'k' me. You 'k' me, I 'f' you.
