Lawson Live in Kuala Lumpur 2013 (Review & Photos)

Saturday, April 13th 2013. Lawson live at Stage Club, Avenue K, KL. My 10th concert I've been to this year.

Arrived at the venue quite 'late' so had to queue in a long long line, far away from Stage's entrance door. But something special happened to the 'late-comers':

We're lucky we were waiting near the backstage door so we got to see the band members came out of a van and rushed to enter the venue. Out of nowhere.

But the long-wait continued afterwards...

Entered into the venue after about an hour later. This was my second time watching a band-show here and I still don't understand why they still doing free showcase here. Heard that there were some poor fans who couldn't come in as the ground was already capacity-full. Better pick somewhere else next time, especially for a free show of a popular band who got a lot of fan (girls) base here.

Nevermind...

Lawson actually rocked! I was surprised. They were good live. Played their songs like Taking Over Me, Learn to Love Again & Standing in the Dark. And also some cover songs in Moves Like Jagger (Maroon 5) & Don't You Worry Child (Swedish House Mafia). The vocalist, Andy Brown, got a good vocal and the boys interacted well with the audience. I enjoyed it.

For a free showcase, this was a good show. Aided by a great combination of lighting and sound system. Thanks to organizers who brought them here.

Thank you, Lawson. And thank you, TonTon for the passes. Hehehe.

Later~
